H2S Scavengers

BC - 417C is a concentrated H2S scavenger that reacts with hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and mercaptans. It will react with both components and can be diluted with solvents such as methanol or ethylene glycol. BC-417C can be used in a "bubble tower" or in continuous injection. Laboratory studies indicate it is comparable in deposition at the rate of typical formaldehyde based products on the market. BC-417C has been used effectively in residual oils at temperatures exceeding 300°F.
