PChem IS - 43

PChem IS-43 is used to formulate corrosion inhibitors or scale/corrosion inhibitors for water floods, cooling waters, boilers or drilling fluid systems.  IS-43 based products have excellent tolerance to high calcium content brines at pH’s above 4.0 compared to other phosphonic acids.  It also exhibits a very strong anodic property which gives it excellent applications in oxygenated systems, such as cooling towers and drilling fluids, as a corrosion inhibitor.  The product does not adversely affect the rheological properties of drilling muds.
